Sizes and measuring

Sheepskins

We measure the length on the leather side, from head to tail. The wool makes the skin look a bit bigger. The width differs per skin.

90 to 95 cm	Dining chair, armchair, next to the bed
105 to 120 cm	Lounge chair, larger floor area
135 cm (1.5 skins)	Bench, sofa seat
180 cm (double)	Sofa, foot of the bed
4, 6 or 8 skins	Rug for living room or bedroom

Cowhides are sized by area. The shape follows the natural shape of the hide, so the length and width differ per hide.
